Sofie from Volsunga writes about a new call for the government to "consider the scientific, medical and social changes in relation to abortion that have taken place since 1967, with a view to presenting options for new legislation."

This is obviously nothing new at all, but it was interesting that some of the commenters saw it from the opposite point of view, i.e. that a review of legislation could actually result in things going in the opposite direction, for example removing some of the arbitrary restrictions. Interesting because I tend to be wary of any attempt to 'review' the legislation because I can only imagine it getting worse, not better.
